Our Story
It’s not uncommon to come across a little girl who has a sweet tooth. Mallory wasn’t just that girl, she took it a step further wanting to create the treats herself. She loved to bake and decorate cupcakes and watch baking shows. From The Great British Bake Off to the plethora of baking competition shows on Food Network, she was the 4th unannounced judge watching at home. Mallory has always been a go-getter, smart, creative and driven. So, it was no surprise to her family that she wanted to graduate high school early and start figuring out her future.
Mallory is culinary trained by Thelton Wilson, a premiere chef from Las Vegas, Nevada specializing in private catering for MGM Grands the Mansion. Wilson trained at Le Cordon Bleu and has cooked privately for notable celebrities including Tiger Woods and Andrea Bocelli. Mallory learned one on one with Wilson to gain culinary knowledge crucial to her business.
Along with her culinary background, Mallory also graduated at the age of 19 from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a degree in Business Marketing. While in college, Mallory successfully led multiple marketing projects throughout college including a marketing plan that was later presented to Amazon Prime Student executives her senior year.
While still in college (virtually due to COVID-19) her family settled in Wildwood, NJ in 2020, and it became the perfect base for Mallory to start building her dream. With the support of her family, and some family recipes, Mallory did a soft launch of online ordering and community events for Mallory’s Eats, in October 2021. She started with a simple menu of cupcakes and custom cakes but had a vision for more. In 2022, as the youngest graduate in her class at UNLV, she was ready to give her business the attention it deserved and turn up the heat.
On May 5, 2023 Mallory opened a store front for Mallory’s Eats. She started with their staple items and have been adding to their menu ever since. From cocoa bombs and lemonade to adding a weekly jumbo cookie menu, she continues to expand her vision. She is known in the area for doing unique cakes—such as The Popcorn Cake, the Tiffany Cake – she even mirrored a beach Jaws theme for a customer who wanted a Shark attack design on her cake. Mallory’s newest venture- LogoCookiesDirect.com. – provides homemade cookies decorated with whatever logo you want. She is already baked up with orders. Stick around for this Wild(wood) ride. Mallory’s Eats is going places and it is sweet.
